This sculptural installation and wall drawings present the tree in two forms, the abstract material in the sculptural wall mounted installation and the pictorial representation of trees in the wall paintings. The work is inspired by numerous sources in art, architecture, history, design, education and psychology. Including the educational system developed by the German pedagog Friedrich Froebel who invented the kindergarten and inspired the development of many modernist artists, architects and designers.
