Grieg Art Collection presents a new exhibition with some of the latest acquisitions to the collection. Here, older art, modernism and contemporary art meet in a unity that shows how the collection is constantly evolving.
The Grieg Art Collection is in continuous growth, and new works are constantly being added to the collection. In this exhibition, you will get an insight into some of the newest additions, from historical works to completely new contemporary art.
The exhibition includes works by contemporary artists such as Candida Höfer, Nathalia Edenmont and Eamon O’Kane, in addition to Markus Oehlen, Sarah Sze, Elin Melberg and Esther Bjørneboe. At the same time, works by old masters such as Christian Skredsvig and modern painters such as Inger Sitter will be shown. This gives you a unique insight into the scope of the collection.
Through the encounter between different expressions, techniques and eras, the exhibition provides an updated picture of the Grieg Art Collection as it appears today, as a living collection in constant motion.
Grieg Kunstsamling presenterer ei ny utstilling med nokre av dei siste innkjøpa til samlinga. Her møtes eldre kunst, modernisme og samtidskunst i ein heilskap som viser korleis samlinga stadig er i utvikling.
