SUMMERTIME ’26: Galleri Christoffer Egelund, Copenhagen, Denmark
Galleri Christoffer Egelund is proud to open its doors to SUMMERTIME ’26, the 22nd edition of our landmark annual summer group exhibition.
This summer, the gallery transforms into a vibrant cross-section of the global contemporary art scene. Bringing together 40 extraordinary artists from across the globe; from Denmark and broader Scandinavia to Australia, Peru, South Korea, Cuba, and the USA. The exhibition offers a captivating look at where art is heading right now.
SUMMERTIME ’26 is not bound by a single medium or theme. Instead, it is curated as an open dialogue. The exhibition celebrates a fearless attitude toward material and expression, showcasing a rich variety of media including paintings on canvas, works on paper, striking sculptural forms, wood, aluminium and ceramics. What unites this diverse selection of both established masters and trailblazing new talents is their shared willingness to push boundaries, challenge personal narratives, and rewrite visual languages. Together the 40 artist stand as a symbol of the beauty of global diversity.
We invite you to experience this burst of international creativity in the heart of Copenhagen.
The opening reception will take place on Friday, June 19th, 2026, from 16:00 to 19:00 at Bredgade 75. Several of the artists will be present at the opening.
The exhibition runs until August 14th, 2026.
